What are y'all working on? Looks like Emily is finishing up those PJ bottoms. What about you, Reba? KNitting in the round on dpn? Very mysterious.

Yep, still working on the PJ's. I'll post a work in progress picture as soon as I get some batteries in the camera.

I am making my first sock! K2 P2 is cumbersome and I still have about 2 inches before I can start knitting in stockinette...I think I'll go work on it right now. When I'm done, I'll have one sock! Great! I'm just doing it to learn how to turn a heel.

I've done a couple socks (note: not pairs of socks, just single socks that I'm sure I'll never make a mate for) on two circular needles using the book Socks Soar on Two Circular Needles. You can read my review at Amazon; It's called "Only O.K." True, I gave the book (which is really nothing more than a glorified pamphlet) 3 stars and dissed it a lot, but I have been using the most basic pattern over and over again.

In the end, I like the technique more than double pointed needles because you work along a row, turn, and continue working along the other needle. So you only have to turn your work once to complete one row.

Hmmm....I'd like to see this "book" you speak of.
